In the update of April 15, Microsoft has rolled out a Cumulative Update Build 22598.200. It is designed to test pipelines for builds in Dev and Beta Channels. However, on April 19, it is the same as the update of April 15.

Updates in Windows 11 Insider New Bugs Fixes

The Beta and Dev channel users will get new ideas, longer lead features, and a wholly unique experience in this update.

At first, a certain number of Insiders will see these new features, and as they explore, they will discover more updates and get quick access.

Windows Spotlight

In this new feature, Windows is trying Windows Spotlight on a background, making it default for new users.

Only a limited number of Windows insiders can experience this feature.

Taskbar

Now, the user can drag and drop apps and content to the taskbar. For example, we can drag an image and drop it in any app over the taskbar.

So, this feature enables users to edit their taskbar easily.

Start menu

In the Start menu, when we hover over it, the start menu disappears. So, there is no problem with the crashing of the Start Menu. Moreover, an issue was making the buttons and labels in the wrong color while using the themes is also available.

File Explorer

While using context menu options or on a desktop to rename, copy and paste can crash the context menu. So, this problem is resolved, and the file explorer is running smoothly.

Input

The Launching touch keyword in the login screen will improve in this update. Voice typing will not stop if we keep pressing Win + H.

Live Captions

We can now see the captions downloading and when they are ready to use. This feature is mainly for video playing and translating sound into text.

Windowing

In Windows 11 insider, the missing animation while pressing WIN + D returns, and the Explorer.exe crash is solved while seeing the Task view. If we have many windows open, they will not lay on top of Desktops.

A new update of Media Player is rolling out for Windows 11 Insiders for Dev Channel. Now, we can switch between two views on the artist page while browsing our collection.

In this update, one side shows all the albums in a grid, and another shows the songs grouped by album. Quick action, like artists, videos, and playlists, is also built-in when a user hovers over them, making quick selections and playback.
