There’s no news on whether this is a one-off measure for some countries or if it would become standard for inexpensive handsets in other areas. This step is actually a disappointment for the consumers who can only afford budget-friendly smartphones, and they will need to get extra money to buy the charging adapter.

Why may this be a wrong decision?

In this case, individuals may be scared to purchase a Samsung smartphone since they will have to pay extra. Samsung known for providing smartphones for all types of buyers. However, this wrong decision to not include charging brick in their box will throw them out of competition. Other companies like Realme, Xiaomi, and others stills care to give their consumers a proper charging brick with their budget smartphones.

Sum Up

These companies claim that eliminating chargers will reduce e-waste. However, the fact is that this setting allows them to keep some additional cash in their pockets, or they just want to follow the trend. The decision is applicable for high-end and expensive phones but for a budget-friendly device. Paying extra money to buy a charger seems too unfair.
